Period Terrace Extension, Fitzroy North

Built in 1890, this gorgeous, single fronted terrace home had great period features but was not sufficient in space or function for its growing family.

A second storey was added to the rear of the home, which included two bedrooms and an ensuite. The rooms at the front of the home were renovated, while respecting the original features. A modern, open plan kitchen and living area, complete with fireplace, provided much needed practical, luxurious space.
