‘Woodrow’ c1862, Ivanhoe

Residential

‘Woodrow’ was originally built in 1862 and has heritage overlay. Uninhabitable at commencement of works, the build has converted the homestead into a luxury family home, while keeping its original charm. A range of exceptional and rarely sourced, recycled materials were obtained specifically for this prominent property.

The highly complex project included preservation and restoration of the original façade; large scale, split level, double storey extension; addition of huge family room with city views; and multiple luxury bathrooms.

The bespoke kitchen featured honed marble benchtops and shaker cabinets with antique mirror inserts. High quality parquetry flooring and feature skirtings, architraves, wall panelling and cornices complemented the period feel.

The exterior was fully landscaped, including installation of mature, Canary Island palm trees; cobblestone driveway and natural stone; amazing outdoor alfresco area with feature concrete columns; and a stunning, fully tiled pool.
